Try it first.
- New users get 3 days of full Pro on the last page of the welcome tour. No card needed.
- Letters and wishes can each be tried free for 7 days, too.
- Gifted Pro never turns into a subscription. When it ends you’re back on free — no charge, nothing to cancel, and everything you wrote stays. Sealed letters still open.
- Subscriptions are handled by the App Store; cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting Trace doesn’t cancel a subscription.
- New phone? Tap “Restore Purchases” in the app.
